Hi there, I’m Toni Rudd (she/her), The Binge Dietitian.
I’m a UK HCPC Registered Dietitian who specialises in helping individuals effectively break free from restrictive dieting and their binge eating cycles. I utilise a compassionate, non-diet approach to support my clients in developing healthier relationships with food and their bodies.
I’m so glad you are here.
I care more about your health than your weight.
I'm passionate about helping you improve your relationship with food so you can stop binge eating and feeling guilty after eating. My mission is to help you realise there's more to life than strict meal plans, obsessive calorie counting, and constant food stress.
I support you in increasing health-promoting behaviours with an ‘add-in’ mindset, helping you reach your health goals without deprivation.
I focus on healing your relationship with food so you can enjoy tasty, nutritious meals that make you feel good, while also including the foods you love without guilt or shame.
Things that matter most to me…
-
I won’t promise you'll be binge-free in a set number of weeks or months because that would turn the non-diet approach into just another diet. Undoing the harmful lessons diet culture has ingrained in us—especially if you’ve had a long-standing negative relationship with food—takes time. Developing a more neutral and peaceful relationship with food isn’t a quick fix, but it is worth the effort.
-
You are the expert on you. Together, we’ll work as a team to create an approach tailored specifically to your needs and lifestyle. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to health, and I believe in empowering you to make choices that feel right and sustainable for your body and your life.
-
My approach to nutrition is all about balance. I’ll support you in moving away from restrictive eating norms toward a place of true food freedom. Food is more than just nutrition—it’s about connection, joy, tradition, and comfort. Whether it’s creating memories with loved ones or celebrating life’s milestones, food holds many meanings beyond calories.

Compassion is at the core of everything I do. I deeply understand the emotional struggles with food, body image, and self-worth. Society often tells us that true health and happiness are tied to weight loss, but I know this isn’t the case. I follow the Health at Every Size (HAES) model, which aligns with my values of providing weight-inclusive, respectful care for every body.
-
As a Registered Dietitian, I’m dedicated to ongoing training and professional development. I’ve completed extensive training in areas like intuitive eating, trauma-informed care, and body image, and I participate in regular supervision to ensure I provide the highest quality care.

I’m passionate about helping you realise that dieting isn’t the only path to health. This work lights me up! I’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to our sessions, serving as your biggest cheerleader every step of the way. While the journey might be challenging at times, I’m here to support you, without shortcuts, as we work toward bringing more joy into your life.
Weight loss goals often focus on quick results instead of long-term health.
When I started my career as a dietitian in 2017, I began working with people to lose weight and improve their blood glucose levels in the NHS.
However, it wasn't long before I realised that the conventional approach of setting weight loss as a goal and advocating for restrictive diets wasn't working as I had hoped. Instead of seeing progress, I witnessed a disheartening pattern: people weren't returning, or they came back feeling stuck, unmotivated and still struggling with their relationship with food.
Many people I meet say they have "tried all the diets" and were left feeling like failures. My heart breaks for them, and I know there is a better way.
That’s why in 2022, I decided to start my private practice as ‘The Binge Dietitian’ because I knew there was a lack of resources and support out there for people who, like many of my clients, were trapped in the cycle of dieting and binge eating.
I wanted to create a place dedicated to breaking this cycle and helping women heal their relationship with food through a compassionate, non-diet approach.
Talking about your relationship with food and binge eating is a significant step.
But what if you could go from:
Feeling out of control around food.
➡️ Feeling empowered and in tune with your body’s needs.
Spending hours measuring and monitoring every bite.
➡️ Understand and trust your hunger and fullness levels, knowing what and when to eat and when to stop.
Constantly thinking about food.
➡️ Living a life where food is just one part of your day, not the focus.
Feeling ashamed after eating certain foods.
➡️ Enjoying all foods without shame or guilt.
Following rigid meal plans.
➡️ Eating in a way for you that promotes variety and flexibility, based on your body’s needs and preferences.
Feeling isolated due to dieting
➡️ Connecting with others and enjoying social events without food stress.
Have you ever found yourself thinking that there must be another way? Well, there is!
Eating shouldn’t be so stressful and I’m here to make it easier for you!
